Tidswell Consulting was founded in 2007, to provide human resource consultancy and injury management services.  The service base has evolved in response to client need, and reflects the experience and capabilities of our consultants, and our business philosophy:

Kim Tidswell

Kim Tidswell’s career spans eighteen years in the occupations of Case Manager, Recruitment Consultant, Rehabilitation Provider, Human Resource Management Consultant and Trainer & Assessor.  Kim identifies a unique fusion of knowledge, skills and experience across these occupations, and across a wide industry base, as her strengths in the provision of Vocational Rehabilitation and Vocational Assessment services.

Emily Blake

Emily’s expertise and high service standards ensure that the Consultancy meets it’s operational and quality targets.  Emily is responsible for marketing and communications programs, and implements the continuous improvement program through the collection and analysis of client feedback across all service areas.

Emily is responsible for the administration and resourcing of the Career Transition Program.

Chris Fallon – Labour Market Analyst

In preparing Labour Market Reports for the Vocational Assessment Centre, Chris Fallon draws on decades of experience in labour economics.

From 1996 until June 2014, Chris was Manager of the Labour Economics Office, Tasmanian State Office of the Australian Government Department of Employment.  His responsibilities included:

  • Providing a Tasmanian perspective to National Office in Canberra on a variety of labour market related issues.
  • Preparation of Trends – The Tasmanian Labour Market Review, on a monthly basis.

Prior to his appointment as Manager of the Labour Economics Office, Chris was Senior Research Officer, Labour Economics Office from 1991 to 1996.  Responsibilities included researching and writing labour market reports, analysis of trends in labour market issues, and compiling and interpreting labour market statistics and other economic indicators.

Chris has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in English and Philosophy, 1995, and a Diploma of Government (Contract Management) 2008.
