Who We Are
Tidswell Consulting is a business unit of Family Based Care Association North West Inc. Our brand proudly represents quality, professionalism and innovation in the rehabilitation industry. We are a leading vocational service provider based in Tasmania, that specialises in post-motor accident rehabilitation and case management. Our evidence-based practices aim to measure and demonstrate the effectiveness of interventions, empowering our clients to manage their injuries and optimise function through strategic goal setting

Services We Provide
Vocational Rehabilitation
Tailored for those aiming to return to their original work in either their previous workplace or a new one.
Redeployment
Supports individuals unable to return to their previous work by identifying skills and retraining opportunities to facilitate new employment ventures.
Support Needs Assessment
Our Functional Independence Measure (FIM) credentialed staff conduct a wholistic assessment to identify risks and needs associated with your injuries to help determine the supports you need to maintain safety and promote independence and reablement. This service is available for NDIS and non-NDIS funded participants.
Workers Compensation Claims
Tidswell Consulting employs a Return-to-Work (RTW) Coordinator for the Family Based Care Tasmania Group. Our RTW Coordinator provides ongoing support throughout the Workers Compensation claim, monitors progress, addresses concerns, and advocates for the injured worker's needs, promoting a successful return to work. Tidswell Consulting does not currently extend RTW services beyond the Family Based Care group.
Case Management
Customised according to recovery phase, accommodation needs, relationship changes, treatment arrangements, community engagement, and aging.
Following an accident, including a motor vehicle accident, a service provider (e.g. insurer), in consultation with medical professionals, will determine which services will best suit your needs and refer you to a rehabilitation provider in your area. If you are referred to Tidswell Consulting, we will work with you as your professional advocate to support and guide you during your recovery.
